HUSCO International, Inc., is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic controls for off-highway and automotive applications. HUSCO has a direct sales model as well as a distributor sales model. The distributor sales channel frequently sends requests for price quotes and due to the large volume of  requests the response time was taking anywhere from several weeks to several months. This issue was causing HUSCO to lose millions of dollars in annual sales due to delayed responses.

Solution

Xorbix developed a portal for the distributors to create price quotes for HUSCO valves.  The portal allows the distributors to achieve the following:

1. Allow distributors to fulfill customers' valve orders online

2. Ability to modify the valve design with the customer online

3. Send price quotes and related drawings to customers within 24 hours

The key deliverables for the price quote portal include:

1. Reduced workload on the price quote team for distributor orders

2. Increased revenue as a result of decreased response times

3. Increased satisfaction ratings among distributors

HUSCO distributors strongly prefer the online model and the speed of price quotes compared to the manual process and formerly delayed response times.
